Nikica Jelavic and Tom Ince are being targeted by Crystal Palace boss Tony Pulis in a bid to help the team stay in the Premier League.
Pulis is targeting as much as six players this month and funds have been promised by Steve Parish, chairman of Crystal Palace.
Jelavic who has been struggling to find game time at Goodison Park is a top priority for the Palace manager and he may be required to take a pay cut to move to Selhurst Park. Jelavic is also wanted by Queen Park Rangers, although playing in the championship is not exactly what the Croatian would want.
Blackpool’s Tom Ince is also high on the Welshman’s wishlist, and Palace have already made contact with Blackpool recently. Ince, whose deal expires in the summer can talk to European clubs, although the former Stocke City manager is weighing up a firm bid for the under-21 star.
Dann is on Palace’s list but his £30,000-a-week wages are seen as a potential stumbling block to a deal.
Pulis said: “We need to get some players into the club this month to give us an even better chance of staying in the Premier League. The window is vitally important to us and it gives us a real opportunity to strengthen for the final half of the season.
“We’ve got lots of irons in the fire and we’re all working hard to bring people in. We’ve caught up with the pack and we’re not too far away now, we’ve given ourselves a chance.”
