Patrice Evra could become the third player to quit Manchester United this season after the left-back recently opened talks with Italian giants Juventus.
Reports suggest that Evra was spotted in Turin to wrap up negotiations and undergo a medical before he officially signs for the Italian champions.
The France international earned an extension to his United contract after playing a required number of games for the club this season but has reportedly grown unsettled at the Old Trafford club due to their relentless pursuit of Southampton’s Luke Shaw.
Incoming United manager Louis Van Gaal is keen on the 33-year-old left back staying, but the defender will almost certainly have a smaller role at the club if the Red Devils manage to capture Shaw.
A move to Juventus will suit Evra perfectly as he will still be able to play at the highest level in spite of him being in the twilight years of his career.
Evra has plied his trade in Italy before with Serie B club Monza.
