As reported by Sports Direct News, Real Madrid manager Carlo Ancelotti had shown interest in signing Chelsea goal-keeper Thibaut Courtois who is currently playing for Atletico Madrid on loan.
The goal-keeper had already become a subject of interest for several clubs in Europe due to his brilliant performance for the Madrid club.
Previously it was heard that Chelsea would bring back the talented Belgian custodian to the club as they consider him as a potential long term replacement for Petr Cech.
Ancelotti had been keenly observing the goal-keeper throughout the season, and with Iker Casillas almost certain to leave the club at the end of the season, the manager would possibly bid for the Belgian.
Barcelona too have shown a stern interest in the goal-keeper. It would be interesting to see which European giant finally ropes in the 21-year-old goal-keeper – if Chelsea decide to sell him.
