Real Madrid defender Jacobo Ramon has been ruled out for two weeks due to injury. The 19-year-old has caught the attention of the club during his performances for Los Blancos' B and C teams.
Jacobo Ramon was reportedly being considered for being included in Real Madrid's starting squad following centre-back Eder Militao sustaining an injury on international duty with Brazil.
The 26-year-old Sao Paulo graduate reportedly suffered an injury during a training session with the national team and has been primarily diagnosed with a muscle injury on his right leg. Militao will undergo more testing to learn the extent of the injury while he's initially expected to take a minimum of two weeks to recover, as per Managing Madrid.
Meanwhile, Ramon has suffered a muscle problem that will keep him out of action for the next two weeks, as per Madrid Universal. Pending tests, the young defender will reportedly be absent for Castilla's clash with Villarreal B on Saturday and is also likely to miss the first team’s La Liga clash with Real Sociedad next week.
With David Alaba, Militao Joan Martinez and Ramon missing out for injuries, Real Madrid head coach Carlo Ancelotti is left with Antonio Rudiger as the fit centre-back in the squad, considering that Jesus Vallejo has been facing recurring fitness issues since the summer. The manager might consider another Castilla centre-back, Raul Asencio, for the squad.
Real Madrid's Arda Güler reportedly unhappy with lack of game time heading into the international break
Real Madrid attacking midfielder Arda Guler is reportedly displeased with his lack of game time ahead of the international break. Although the Turkish star featured in three of four La Liga matches for Los Blancos this season, he has played for a total of 98 minutes with no goal contribution in the league.
Guler is not happy with the amount of time he's getting on the pitch for Los Blancos, as per AS (via Caught Offside). The 19-year-old is expected to play in Turkey's UEFA Nations League fixtures against Wales on Friday, September 6, followed by their clash with Iceland three days later.
Arda Guler, who arrived at Santiago Bernabeu, from his boyhood club Fenerbahce in 2023, has scored six times for the Spanish giants in 16 appearances across competitions.
