Real Madrid are rumored to be after Manchester United star, Wayne Rooney. The are willing to offer a staggering £50 million pounds plus a player, in Sami Khedira or Angel Di Maria, who have both been on the Red Devil’s radar.
Carlo Ancelloti has identified Rooney to be the man to lead the line, with potent wingers, Gareth Bale and Cristiano Ronaldo on either flank. He could join alliance with former team-mate Cristiano Ronaldo, who moved away from Old Trafford in 2009.
Rooney has been the most consistent Red Devil so far this campaign scoring and assisting 10 each. The Englishman’s current contract runs out in 18 months time, and David Moyes will be desperate to tie him down to a contract extension.
A move to the Bernebeu will be very attractive for the 28-year-old, who has spent close to ten years at his current club. He could join the elite group of players who left Manchester United to join the Spanish giants, which include the likes of David Beckham, Ruud Van Nistelrooy and Cristiano Ronaldo.
