Manchester United legend Ryan Giggs has reportedly decided to hang his boots after an illustrious career at the club.
The Wales international has also closed the doors to any speculation linking him with a coaching job at Old Trafford.
The one club man has played his entire career at the Theatre of Dreams with 13 Premier league titles and two Champions league medals under his belt under former boss Alex Ferguson.
Although he has started in crucial Champions league fixtures this season, Giggs might be considering ending his decorated career as a Red Devil.
Sunday people reported close sources suggesting that the 40 year old might go on to sever all ties between him and the club by refusing to take up a coaching role under new boss David Moyes. He feels that the club is not the right place at the moment to hone his coaching abilities.
Former team mate Paul Scholes also turned down a permanent job offer at the Trafford but he was helping his friend Nicky Butt with United’s under 19 team.
Giggs is part of the Salford City project which is the non league club brought by Scholes, Butt and the Neville brothers.
