Mirror reports, Stoke City are all set to rope in Dutch striker Luuk de Jong from Borussia Monchengladbach in January. Also they are looking forward to land New England Revolution’s striker Juan Agudelo’s work permit soon.
The 23-year-old Dutch striker is desperate for a January move to England, to boost his World Cup hopes.
Agudelo’s contract with New England Revolution has expired. He was due to move to the Britannia Stadium on January 1, but he was denied a work permit in England.
The 21-year-old striker visited the Potteries last week, however, and Stoke are keen to make a second attempt for a permit if they get the green light from the USA international.
