Tottenham Hotspur are all set to re-unite with Dimitar Berbatov, after Fulham FC confirmed that they would release the Bulgarian striker in January, according to Metro.
Fulham so far had a terrible seaon in the Premier League. The striker earlier had said that he does not wants to stay in the club anymore. The club manager, Rene Meulensteen too backed his move saying: ‘I will never stand in the way of people’s ambitions. I had a really good chat with him recently. We spoke about him as a player and the most important thing for me is to focus on the next few games up to January.’
‘He is an immense player, that’s for sure. Any manager in the world would like to have him in their team.’
Tottenham are set to offer £3 million for Berbatov, who enjoyed a successful spell at the club in the past.
