Wantaway Chelsea striker Romelu Lukaku has turned down the chance to permanently sign for West Ham United according to The Metro.
This isn’t the first time West Ham have tried to sign the Belgian and had previously made a bid for him last year but the striker chose to move to Evreton instead where he got a remarkable tally of 16 goals.
Lukaku isn’t keen on staying with Chelsea but wants to move to a club who can offer him Champions League football, which pushes West Ham out of the picture.
Bundesliga side Wolfsburg also enquired about the strikers availability, but Chelsea are reluctant to due business with anyone before the end of the World Cup.
Lukaku still has two years left on his current deal with Chelsea, whom he signed for in 2011 for £10 million.
