Chelsea midfielder Kevin De Bruyne might make a permanent move to German club Wolfsburg. Chelsea value the talented Belgian at 25 million pounds, however a deal of 17 million pounds could be struck.
Wolfsburg had earlier bid for De Bruyne but the transfer sum was unknown. However according to certain reports, the bid is somewhere in the region of 17 to 19 million pounds.
Wolfsburg sporting director Klaus Allofs said: “We can’t announce a deal yet, be we are not in a desperate mood. We would not talk to Chelsea if we had totally opposing views.”
De Bruyne is desperate to leave Chelsea for first team action in order to nail down a starting spot in the upcoming World Cup.
