Rumour: Yann M'Vila on his way to Liverpool?

With the January transfer window fast approaching Twitter was sent into a frenzy when pictures of Yann M’Vila posing with LFC fans in the away end of Goodison Park were posted on Saturday afternoon.

The official line of the visit was the M’Vila attended the game after being invited by long term friend Mamadou Sakho, M’Villa took to Twitter to thank Sakho for inviting him to the game

But a source close to the club has told Beyondthekop that M’Vila was not only there as a guest of Mamadou Sakho, he was also there to meet club officials for talks, the source says that “A deal is very close”Liverpool coach Brendan Rodgers has already stated that any player that joins in January will have to be better then what he already has and able to go straight into the first team, there should be no doubt that M’Vila fits the bill.
