A host of Premier League clubs are interested in Leeds youngster Sam Byram, who has earned rave reviews for his performances in the Championship this season. The 19-year-old right-back has caught the eye of Arsenal and Manchester City in recent months.
According to sources, Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has been watching the youngster all season and is readying a bid to bring him to the Emirates. With Bacary Sagna’s future still up in the air, having yet to agree a contract extension, the North Londoners are looking for defensive reinforcements.
Manchester City too have expressed an interest in Essex-born Byram, who impressed their Italian manager Roberto Mancini when the two teams faced off in the FA Cup Fifth Round in February. City won that game 4-0.
