The highly rated youngster scored once again on Friday night in a 5-2 demolition of Marseille and rumours have it that Bayern Munich have won the race to sign Ousmane Dembele. Barcelona have extensively scouted Dembele while the likes of PSG, Manchester United and Manchester City have also been linked.
Last season Dembele, then 17, scored 13 goals in the 18 games he played for the club's B team in the fifth tier of French football.
Following his impressive performance, Dembele was promoted to the first team and he has adapted to it like a duck to water having scored nine goals in this season's Ligue 1 in 17 matches, including a hat-trick in the derby match against Nantes, helping his team win 4-1.
According to beIN Sport on Monday, Dembele will be signing for Bayern Munich.
According to reports, Bayern Munich have agreed to loan him back to Rennes next season which means that he will only be playing in the 2017/18 season for Bayern Munich.
If the deal does go through, Dembele will be joining talented youngsters like Coman and Costa at Bayern Munich.
Bayern edge closer to Bundesliga title with win against Cologne
Bundesliga leading scorer Robert Lewandowski grabbed an early goal to give leaders Bayern Munich a 1-0 victory at Cologne that sent them eight points clear at the top of the table with seven matches left in the season.
Bayern, on track for a treble of titles after advancing to the Champions League quarter-finals this week, are on 69 points, with second-placed Borussia Dortmund 5 behind on 64 points.
Poland forward Lewandowski notched his 25th goal of the campaign with a well-placed shot in the 10th minute and Bayern were rarely threatened by the hosts in a one-sided game in which the visitors had more than 70 percent possession.
