Manchester United have confirmed the squad numbers of new signings Daniel James and Aaron Wan-Bissaka. The Welshman is all set to pick up the squad number vacated by the departure of Ander Herrera and will be seen as the new United No. 21 in the upcoming season.
Wan-Bissaka, on the other hand, will be picking up the No. 29, which was last worn by his Crystal Palace team mate Wilfred Zaha, during his disastrous stay at Old Trafford. It is Wan-Bissaka's preferred number, as the Englishman has been wearing the same number at Palace since he broke into the first team.
Both players represent a change in transfer strategy from United this summer, as the club target young, hungry players to form a new base for the future.

Inspired by Diego Maradona, Deepungsu played as an attacking midfielder for his local club at subdivision level in his initial years and scored an important goal or two. However, his all-time favorite footballer is Lionel Messi, and evidently, he feels Argentina's glory in 2022 is his favorite FIFA World Cup moment for fulfilling his long-standing dream. He is also an ardent East Bengal fan.

Unsurprisingly, his favorite manager is Sir Alex Ferguson and the Scotsman helped him get through some of the toughest days of his life. Despite believing in Kylian Mbappe and Erling Haaland to create an iconic rivalry, Deepungsu reckons no one can match the longevity of Messi and Ronaldo. He spends his leisure time writing about life on his blog, reading books, and playing the guitar.
