Samoa and New Zealand will battle for three points in a 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifier on Monday (November 18th). Samoa are coming into the game on the back of a 3-0 defeat to Tahiti last week.
Eddy Kaspard, Benoit Mathon and Teaonui Tehau scored second-half goals to help their nation claim maximum points.
New Zealand, meanwhile, thrashed Vanuatu 8-1 at home. They went ahead through Matthew Gabett's 11th-minute strike while Jordy Tasip equalized six minutes later. Chris Wood and Tyler Bindon each scored a brace before the break to give the All Whites a 5-1 lead at halftime. Elijah Just, Sarpreet Singh and Callum McCowatt scored after the break to complete the rout.
The victory left Darren Bazeley's side at the summit of Group B with the maximum points garnered from two games. Samoa are bottom on zero points.

Samoa vs New Zealand Prediction
Samoa dropped to 186th spot in the latest FIFA World Rankings and will be wary of being on the end of a hiding in this game. Jess Ibrom's side secured their spot at this stage of the qualifiers with an extra-time victory over Tongo in the last round, but are unlikely to advance to the next round.
New Zealand have started their quest to qualify for a first World Cup since 2010 emphatically. They have won both games, scoring 11 goals and conceding just one.
Barring an unlikely upset, there should only be one winner here. We are backing New Zealand to claim a comfortable victory and clean sheet.
Prediction: Samoa 0-6 New Zealand
