Samuel Eto'o wants to work with Jose Mourinho again

Cameroonian Samuel Eto’o’s recent remarks may bring in delight for the Chelsea fans. Reportedly, the Cameroon’s goal scoring machine Eto’o wants to work under Jose Mourinho, with whom he had worked at Inter Milan.

Eto’o, who currently plays at Russian club Anzhi Makhachkala, is keen on working with Mourinho again. The former Inter Milan and Barcelona striker is exasperated by the rumours and is enthusiastic about paying under Jose Mourinho again.

“There is only one Jose Mourinho. I have played under a lot of great coaches, but there is no other character in the game like Jose,” Eto’o was quoted by the Daily Mail.

He even cited Jose Mourinho as the best coach he has ever played under. He said, “He is one of the best coaches in the world – and we had a lot of success together at Inter. I would like to have the chance to play under him again – because it is never boring when Jose is around.”

Even he feels Chelsea to be a pretty successful and big club and he also quoted,”Of course Chelsea are a great team – and when we have all the offers on the table then I will discuss with my agent and see what my next step is.”

Reportedly, Mourinho has been in contact with Eto’o for much of the past weekend in Italy and has been making an attempt to convince him to join Chelsea.

Eto’o’s agreement on joining Chelsea may also shut the doors for Wayne Rooney, who is keen to leave Manchester United for Chelsea.
