Santiago Bernabeu set to be remodelled by Real Madrid

Real Madrid president Florentino Perez has revealed that the club are planning to remodel the Santiago Bernabeu.

Speaking to Spanish TV, he said, “We want to award the project later this month. There are four candidates for the improvements, and if they hurry up then we’ll see if by the summer we can start work on what will be something very emblematic for the 21st century Bernabeu.”

In total, four designs were submitted and the proposals were being considered by the club.

Earlier this week, he had announced that the Spanish club were in talks regarding a deal that would give a sponsor naming rights for the stadium.
