Brazilian football club Santos has placed a 10 million-euro price tag on Brazil under-23 international Zeca, according to media reports.
The 21-year-old left-back has attracted interest from Atletico Madrid with his consistent performances for Santos this year, the Sambafoot news portal said on Monday, according to Xinhua.
The report said Santos had already rejected an offer from the Spanish club of around eight million euros.
"Atletico Madrid are hoping to close a deal as soon as possible because the player's participation in (this year's) Olympics may further inflate the values involved," the portal said.
Zeca made his first-team debut for Santos in 2014 after being promoted from the club's youth academy.
