Jamie Redknapp urges Tottenham to keep hold of Christian Eriksen
Anybody who was watching yesterday's match between Aston Villa and Tottenham Hotspur would agree that the game changed in favour of Spurs with the introduction of Christian Eriksen.
The Dane's vision and unrivalled ability to pick a quick pass were instrumental to Tottenham winning the match with a rather comfortable 3-1 scoreline despite being a goal behind for the greater part of the game.
Former Tottenham Hotspur manager and current Sky Sports pundit Jamie Redknapp urged Spurs to keep hold of Eriksen after the game. He said,
"Personally, until Eriksen came onto the field, I didn't see Spurs winning that game."
"I really hope Christian Eriksen doesn't leave the Premier League and doesn't leave Tottenham. When he plays, it's like the game stands still.
"He's the difference in that team, Eriksen, and they need to find a way to keep him.
"If he wants a bit more money than most players, that's what great players deserve."
