Having lost 3-1 to Switzerland in their group opener on June 15, qualification now looks unlikely for Hungary, who are currently 27th in the latest FIFA World Rankings.

They are also on a run of five straight competitive games without a win, losing twice and picking up three draws since beating Cyprus 3-0 in the Euro qualifiers back in September 2023.
Hungary have won just one of their last 17 matches at major tournaments (World Cup and Euro) while losing 11 and claiming five draws.
With his strike against Switzerland, McTominay has scored eight goals in 10 competitive games for Scotland. The Manchester United midfielder has nine goals in 51 senior caps for the Tartan Army and will be one to watch on Sunday.
