Since Serge Ibaka (NBA Oklahoma City Thunder) and Andres Iniesta (Barcelona FC) became partner investors in Spanish company FirstV1sion and over 300 other fans are starting to follow suit in investing in the company through an equity CrowdFunding campaign on BnkToTheFuture.com after witnessing the dramatic effects of last week’s Friday major Euroleague basketball game.

Fans who attended last week's game between Zalgiris Kaunas and Real Madrid were able to watch the game for the first time from a player’s point of view. Basketball players were given the opportunity to wear the smart wearable broadcasting vests (developed by Spanish company FirstV1sion) that had in-built cameras installed to give the audience an even more immersive experience.

Spanish company FirstV1sion are helping to make change for basketball fans, as technology such as this has never been used in the basketball court. Zalgiris Kaunas were happy to endorse such innovation and decided to be the first international team to test such a kit out.

A celebratory defeat by Real Madrid who scored 99-83 in Euroleague’s second group stage was most definitely the talking point by many of the fans and players.

“It would be very good for fans or even basketball players to see what’s happening inside the game.” Edwin Jackson FC Barcelona Basquet of the Liga ACB.

Founders of FirstV1sion, Jose Ildefonso and Roger Antunez, firmly believe that what they have developed could immerse fans of basketball and football into the game much more deeper just as we experience in the cockpit of an F1 driver.

Over 300 investors and sports fans have invested so far in the Spanish company FirstV1sion through the equity crowdfunding platform BnkToTheFuture.com where they can join top sports legends such as Andres Iniesta and Serge Ibaka in becoming an investor in the company.

FirstV1sion are looking to raise €2.5 million and have so far raised just over €300,000 in it’s first few weeks of going live on the equity crowdfunding platform BnkToTheFuture.com. The success of last week’s game proved that fans enjoyed the experience and that the basketball players welcomed the technological move as it didn’t hinder their gaming performance one bit.

If FirstV1sion raise their funding goal of €2.5 million, we could potentially see games such as Basketball, football and many other sports change with immersive experiences.
