Having a player in the top 10 for them might seem quite bizarre on the surface, but Nikola Milenkovic and his performances so far this season are going some way into showing why he is one of the best defensive talents in the league this year.

Statistically, he's been the best defender in the league so far and watching him play only reaffirms that.

He's played every minute in the league this year, having scored two goals, as well as averaging 3.5 clearances, 1.5 tackles, 1.4 interceptions per game.

His imposing frame means he's rarely bullied into mistakes, and for a guy his size, has quite a turn of pace, rarely being out-run by opposition attackers.

His positional awareness is quite amazing, as he is rarely caught out by a long pass, and it won't be long before he decides to take his talents elsewhere.
