Juventus celebrate their 33rd Serie A title in 2016-17
In the highest ever signing by an Italian club (third highest in the world at the time), Juventus shelled out 90 million euros to SSC Napoli to acquire the services of the Southern club's prolific marksman Gonzalo Higuain. Higuain had set the record for most goals in a season (36) in the previous season.
