Sheffield United v Manchester United - Premier League
Like the rest of the team, the Englishman had a quiet first half, where he rarely saw the ball and could not muster a single shot on target in the first half. He did have one attempt but it had sailed harmlessly into the crowd. The failure of the United midfield to pick him up hurt his chances, but Marcus Rashford never stopped running and working hard. He switched places with James and dropped down to help Williams on quite a few occasions.

After Solskjaer introduced Mason Greenwood and Jesse Lingard in the second up, Rashford suddenly had a lot of support in the final third. It gave him the freedom to drift across the frontline and also the confidence to try something different. After Brandon William’s goal, Rashford set up Greenwood to draw United level and brought his team back into the tie. 2 minutes later, he had taken United ahead.
Fantastic build-up play between Daniel James and Anthony Martial saw the Welshman run free into the box. James then had the composure to spot Rashford and find him in space with a perfect drag back. The Englishman scored with his left and gave United the lead.

Inspired by Diego Maradona, Deepungsu played as an attacking midfielder for his local club at subdivision level in his initial years and scored an important goal or two. However, his all-time favorite footballer is Lionel Messi, and evidently, he feels Argentina's glory in 2022 is his favorite FIFA World Cup moment for fulfilling his long-standing dream. He is also an ardent East Bengal fan.
Deepungsu has been a Manchester United supporter since the year 2000. Unsurprisingly, his favorite manager is Sir Alex Ferguson and the Scotsman helped him get through some of the toughest days of his life. Like the fiery Scot, Deepungsu also leaves no stone unturned when it comes to accuracy in articles and only relies on credible sources.
Despite believing in Kylian Mbappe and Erling Haaland to create an iconic rivalry, Deepungsu reckons no one can match the longevity of Messi and Ronaldo. He spends his leisure time writing about life on his blog, reading books, and playing the guitar.
