Should Wesley Sneijder leave Inter Milan for Manchester United?

Manchester United, a club whose spending power has always been under the microscope since the Glazer’s takeover, have already come up with some major signings in this transfer window. They have signed Phil Jones from Blackburn Rovers, David De Gea from Atletico Madrid and Ashley Young from Aston Villa. Sir Alex Ferguson now needs a new Center Midfielder to fill the void created in the side after Paul Scholes announced his retirement at the end of the season. Manchester United have been repeatedly linked with Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Luka Modric, Arsenal midfielder Samir Nasri and Inter Milan midfielder Wesley Sneijder.

Sir Alex Ferguson has already lost interest in the Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Luka Modric after he was quoted saying that he is intrested in a move to Chelsea. Tottenham have already rejected two bids for the Croation play-maker from the blues.

Arsene Wenger, the Arsenal manager, has also rejected a possible transfer for Samir Nasri and declared that Nasri will not leave the club this summer.

o, Sir Alex Ferguson has concentrated all his attention in the Dutch International Wesley Sneijder. Sneijder, who was named UEFA midfielder of the season as well as one of the three best midfielders in the world by FIFA for 2010, has been interested in a move to the red half of Manchester. But should he leave Inter Milan for the runners up of last years Champions League finalists? I think he should.

But Why?

Wesley Sneijder

Point #1: He can provide good service to the team.

Wesley Sneijder has been a very good play-maker for The Netherlands over the years. He can provide the ball from right flank to left flank pretty well and put immense pressure on the opposition with his through passes to the strikers. He can even score goals out of nothing from long range just like Paul Scholes. He can perfectly fit in Manchester United’s side.

Point #2: Manchester United need a World-Class Free-kick taker.

After the departure of Cristiano Ronaldo in 2009 from Old Trafford, Manchester United never had a top-class free-kick taker. Wayne Rooney used to take this duty sometimes for United but he wasn’t quiet good to take every single free kick. Wesley Sneijder’s record from free-kicks has been fantastic. He has been a regular free kick taker for Holland over the years and has been scoring from them. Manchester United need a good free-kick taker and he can be the one.

Point #3: Very Good Attitude

Wesley Sneijder is a guy with a very good and positive attitude. He can swing the mood in the dressing room whenever the mood is down. Manchester United need a cool customer as well alongside Wayne Rooney.

Point #4: A chance to prove himself in Barclays Premier League

Wesley Sneijder has got a chance to prove himself in the Barclays Premier which many players don’t get. Barclays Premier League is the best league in the world by far and he should not miss out an opportunity to join the English Champions.

He’s 27 years of age and the 35 million price tag is worth it.

He can be a perfect replacement for Paul Scholes and he should join Manchester United! Whats your say?
