Finally, the player who had it the best among all the men that won the double with Manchester United, Ronaldo left the club in 2008/09 and signed for Spanish giants Real Madrid. He has won many trophies since leaving Old Trafford including the Champions League as well as individual accolades such as the Ballon d’Or. He even captained Portugal to the UEFA Euro crown in 2016.
While Ronaldo, Rooney, Giggs and Neville had it the best, there were players like Louis Saha and Anderson, who disappeared into obscurity not long after winning the double.
