#4 Sadio Mane
Consistency was Sadio Mane's biggest problem during his first two seasons at Liverpool and one good game from him was often followed by a number of average performances. However, he improved on that last campaign and took the team forward when Mohamed Salah was misfiring.
He registered 22 goals and one assist last season and shared the Premier League Golden Boot with his teammate, Salah and Arsenal's Aubameyang. His performances earned him a place in the PFA Team of the Season and he was also shortlisted for the PFA Player of the Year award, which he lost to his teammate, Virgil van Dijk.
#3 Mohamed Salah
Mohamed Salah struggled with his performances during the opening few weeks of the season, and many labelled him as an 'one-season wonder'. However, he started improving as the season grew and enjoyed the last laugh at his critics.
He scored 22 goals in 36 games during the 2018-19 season and won the Golden Shoe for the second consecutive year.
