Sneijder dismisses talks of a move to Chelsea

Just last week, Wesley Sneijder was the subject of intense speculation from the press after comments made by Louis Van Gaal linking him with a move to Chelsea. The player himself has dismissed these reports and has stated on record that he intends to remain in Turkey.

He said:

“Everywhere Jose Mourinho goes they make some rumours about me following. Whatever club I’m at I will give 100%, I love this club and I am not even thinking to leave.

It’s just rumours and you will see come January I will be linked with Chelsea again but I am staying here. Every transfer market I am apparently moving to one club or another but these are just rumours, I am happy and I like life here.”

To be honest, although Sneijder is a class act, I am more than happy with all of our “number 10′s” and we do not need another one!
