Milan - Inter Milan midfielder Wesley Sneijder said he will make up his mind whether or not to accept Turkish football club Galatasaray‘s offer for him by Monday.
Galatasaray confirmed negotiations over personal terms had begun after Inter accepted their transfer fee, thought to be in the region of 10 million euros, reports Xinhua.
“I’m fine. It is a big decision I have to take, so I don’t think it will be made by Monday,” said the Dutch star Saturday.
“There are still two weeks to go before the end of the transfer window, so there is time. I am relaxed and I’m considering my options.”
According to speculation in the Italian media, Sneijder is waiting for an offer from a bigger club.
Inter President Massimo Moratti is trying to exert pressure on Sneijder to seal the transfer.
“He has an alternative and we’ll see if he takes it, otherwise he’ll stay here,” he said. If the 28-year-old decides to stay, that means he will accept a salary cut of two million euros.
