So Arsenal do not feel like scoring, huh??

For the second consecutive game, the Gunners are yet to find the net, and apart from Santi Carzola’s midfield magic, there is nothing to show for the trouble. Carzola might be the perfect replacement for Alex Song, but Arsenal need to find the perfect replacement for RVP. Having seen him score against Fulham for Manchester United, it is really worth noting that Arsenal need that legendary left foot back, or something close to it.

Giroud and Podolski seem to be trying, but at this level of football, trying is never enough. Therefore Wenger will really need to think about how to handle this crisis, and handle it as soon as possible. With players like “the Ox” and Theo Walcott starting from the bench in favor of Gervinho, you can really begin to question Wenger’s decisions, or his ambitions, whichever of those two make more sense to you. You can even begin to see the sense in people like Nasri and Song hitting out at the club for lack of ambition, however unprofessional of them that may be.

Being a grudge match, I would like to think Arsenal would have been better off finishing the game in the first half, and bringing on people like Gervinho later on to pass time. Maybe I play too much fantasy football, or maybe Wenger should start playing fantasy football!
