Ryan Giggs and Cristiano Ronaldo are two of the most iconic players in Manchester United history. The Portuguese Galactico has always looked up to Giggs' as a role model and the Welshman's fondness for Ronaldo is well documented.

But of late, there is a story is doing rounds on Twitter. Former Premier League striker Jan Aage Fjortoft, who also is now a renowned media pundit, has shared a story which was narrated to him by his compatriot and former United star Olé Gunnar Solskajer. The plot is that Ryan Giggs manhandled then young starlet Ronaldo by pushing him to wall and warning him to behave. The story is very unbelievable in itself considering the profiles of both the superstars.

The reason for such an outrage from Giggs is said to be Ronaldo's affection for popular soft-drink Coke. Giggs is known for his calm and tender personality. He has always been a cool and composed character in the dressing room, who the youngsters look up to.
What evoked such an extreme reaction from United's all-time apps record holder is unknown. But we can present you a couple of theories which may have tripped him up.
1. Giggs mustn't be a huge fan of Coke (he used to endorse Pepsi) and couldn't stand anyone drinking it, especially in his presence. Although this seems highly unlikely to be the main reason but it is a possibility nonetheless.
2. As we all know, Giggs is a self-proclaimed fan of Portugal's Euro Cup winning captain. So, he must've acted in the protective manner by making the young Portuguese understand the importance of diet in a footballer's life. This seems one of the more believable theories where Giggs has always led by example as far as maintaining his physique and fitness are concerned. There can be endless possibilities and theories pertaining to this saga. But one thing of which we all can be sure of is that Giggs isn't the Mr. Sweet all the time. When rubbed the wrong way, he too knows to rough things up.
