Bosnian international Emir Spahic has completed his move from Sevilla to Bayer Leverkusen for an undisclosed fee, the Spanish club confirmed on their website on Friday.
The 32-year-old, who joined Sevilla from Montpellier back in 2011, made 22 appearances in La Liga last season before moving on loan to Russian club Anzhi Makhachkala in February.
Spahic joins Jesus Navas and Luis Alberto as high-profile departures from the Sanchez Pizjuan in recent weeks as the Andalusian club look to cut costs after missing out on Champions League football for a third consecutive season.
