Sporting Lisbon winger Bruma is desperate to transfer to Chelsea and has pleaded with his club to allow him to do so.
Armindo Tué Na Bangna, commonly called as Bruma, has been a player in demand after his sterling performance for Portugal at the FIFA Under-20 World Cup.
There have been various stories doing the rounds, with his agent Catio Balde having said that there was even a kidnap effort made on him by a rival club. Bruma, on his part, is eager to terminate his Sporting contract which he hasn’t been able to do as he still has a year left on his contract.
“I was in charge of presenting offers to Sporting,” Balde said. “There are offers from foreign clubs, from Chelsea and from Galatasaray, worth €8 million, that could reach €12 million.”
“From this moment on, considering that he is a highly coveted player, it is possible that more offers will arrive, because I know that several clubs were waiting for the best moment to make a move. Right now, Bruma’s mind is not on Sporting.” he added.
£12 million has been offered by Chelsea for his transfer, with Blues boss Jose Mourinho in earnest pursuit.
Sporting have already rejected the £12 million offer, as they are believed to want around £15 million to complete the deal.
