Over the last few days, we’ve been analysing the latest transfer rumours doing the rounds. We’ve been constantly digging newspapers and websites to bring the most accurate transfer information to our readers.
Today, we talk about the future of Oguzhan Ozyakup, Nemanja Matic, and Paul Pogba. We have done an in-depth analysis on the English Premier League transfer rumours of 26th July.
#1 Oguzhan Ozyakup to Arsenal or Manchester United
Arsenal and Manchester United are interested in signing Oguzhan Ozyakup, reports Deporte Valenciano. Beskitas are happy to sell him and want around €20 million for the former Arsenal player. Meanwhile, Valencia are also said to have identified him as a replacement for Andre Gomes.
Experts say: The rumours are very fresh, and there is nothing on this from the experts yet.
Our take: Ozyakup is definitely making a name for himself in Turkey, and was in impressive form last season, but it remains to be seen if Arsenal or Manchester United are interested in signing him this summer. There is not much on this yet, and we should wait for more concrete reports, but he is available for a price that most Premier League clubs can afford.
Chances of it happening: 4/10
#2 Nemanja Matic to Juventus
Juventus are in the transfer market for the replacement of Paul Pogba, who could be leaving for Manchester United. According to Gazzetta dello Sport, Juventus are interested in the services of Nemanja Matic, but Antonio Conte considers him as a key player.
Experts say: Italian media have changed their minds on Matic, and now say the Serbian is an important player for Conte.
Our take: We said it earlier that no way Chelsea are going to let go of Matic this summer, and we still maintain it. There were reports in the Italian media that Conte wants to offload Matic this summer, but those reports have been dismissed by the Italian manager himself. Despite the arrival of Kante, it’s very likely Matic will stay at Chelsea next season.
Chances of it happening: 3/10
#3 Paul Pogba to Manchester United
Manchester United have increased their offer for Paul Pogba up to €110m, reports Gazzetta dello Sport. Pogba’s agent Mino Raiola had a meeting with Giuseppe Marotta in Milan yesterday, and Ed Woodward joined them on a conference call.
Experts say: The experts say the delay is mainly due to Mino Raiola’s commission which is believed to be as high as 20%
Our take: This one is dragging for too long now, but we did tell you that we won’t be surprised if Paul Pogba decides to sign for Manchester United when the rumours started. Well, we maintain that. A deal is reportedly very close, and it appears Raiola is trying to get the best deal for himself and his client.
Chances of it happening: 8/10
