#1 A Bukayo Saka masterclass
Arsenal may have come back from a two-goal deficit, but they were the team on top of proceedings for much of the encounter.
With Freddie Ljungberg resting more than a few of his regulars, much of the North London team's creative verve came from an unlikely source - as the 18-year-old Bukayo Saka was the eye of the storm for Arsenal.
The young Englishman was one of the bright spots for Arsenal in a somewhat tame first 45 minutes, as he peppered the Standard Liege backline with more than a few shots and darting runs.
In the second half he continued where he left off, and his persistence led to the first goal, with his cross connecting with Alexandre Lacazette in the box for Arsenal's first. Three minutes later, it was only fitting that he got the equaliser, as he let whipped in a shot from outside the box to save his side's blushes.
Saka was a cut above everyone else offensively in the encounter, as he boasted of superior attacking contributions. The young Englishman had 5 shots with 3 on target, and a total of 4 key passes.
