Ribery plays a more all round game, playing the role of the midfielder, making those very important passes to the strikers, but is also able to threaten the opposition on his own.
Jefferson Farfan’s role is more of a dedicated play-maker. He stays behind his attacking team-mates and supplies those very crucial passes for the strikers. That does not mean he does not have an eye for goal, in fact he has the same number of goals as the Frenchman, which mean even he takes a whack at goal, now and then.
