Following the 4-3 thriller against Swansea at home, Liverpool created a new Premier League record for most combined goals (for and against) from first 27 games played. The Merseyside club are currently on a combined tally of 105, with 70 goals scored, and 35 conceded.
Manchester United held the record before this, with 101 goals in the 2001/02 season.
However, Manchester City could still have something to say about this, with one game in hand this season, and a combined total of 96. The Citizens will need 10 goals in their next game against Aston Villa to break the Liverpool record.
