Sergio Aguero has been one of the best strikers in the Premier League since he joined Manchester City in 2011. The player has won two Premier League titles and one League Cup trophy within the Citizens within the span of four seasons.
Apart from winning trophies, he has also proved his prowess in front of the goal by scoring a number of goals every season. The player became the second most consistent goalscorer in the Premier League after he scored five goals in a game against Newcastle. The only other player to score five goals in a single match are Jermain Defoe, Andy Cole, Alan Shearer and Dimitar Berbatov.
While the Argentine has the highest goal per game ratio amongst current players, Arsenal legend Thierry Henry, who managed to score 175 goals in 258 appearances, is above him after having a goal per game ratio of 0.68. While Aguero has the capability of overtaking the Frenchman, it is to be seen if he can match the consistency of the striker who was part of the legendary Invincibles team.
The only other active Premier League players to make the list is Chelsea’s star striker Diego Costa. Although the Spanish international has not played as many games as Aguero or Henry, he has the same ratio as his Manchester City counterpart.
Some of the other players on the list are Manchester United and Liverpool stars, Ruud van Nistelrooy and Luis Suarez. Both players have an a pretty high average of 0.63 goals per game.
While only players who have played a minimum of 20 league games have been considered, there is only one person in the history of the Premier League to have a 100% goal per game ratio. Gary Bull of Nottingham Forest is the man to hold this record as he has only played one match in the Premier League and managed to find the back of the net in that game.

Jamie Vardy of Leicester City has been one of the most consistent scorers this season after he managed to score seven goals in eight games. While a lot the newcomers have made the list, it is surprising that many big-name players are missing.
