Stephan El Shaarawy has dismissed rumors about potential transfer to Manchester City by expressing that he intends to stay at the San Siro.
Rumors doing the rounds in Italy were that the City was lining up financial firepower to build up a bid of £30million for the AC Milan forward.
However, El Shaarawy, 20, said that even though he is quite thrilled by City’s interest in him, he is not planning on going away this Summer.
“I don’t think I will leave Milan,” he said during an interview with La Repubblica.
“I always felt total confidence from all: the club, coach [Massimiliano] Allegri and team-mates. Even when I’ve not managed to score goals they’ve appreciated my hard work. I’m also in the national team and I owe that to them.”
