Forward
Ryan Babel
The second stint in the Premier League for Dutch international Ryan Babel ended on a sour note as his Fulham side got relegated at the end of the season.
The winger who joined the Cottagers during the January transfer window from Besiktas made 16 appearances and scored 5 times. Babel made his final appearance for the Cottagers in their final match of the season at home to Newcastle United.
Danny Welbeck
A much-loved player, Danny Welbeck will be available for free after an injur-marred final few seasons at Arsenal.
The former Manchester United man who joined Arsenal in 2014 struggled with injuries in the all the 5 seasons at the Emirates. The England international had to spend numerous days on the injury list, managing to play more than 30 games a season just once.
Danny Welbeck made just 126 appearances and scored 32 times for the Gunners in a 5-year long stay. The 28-year old made his final appearance for the Gunners against Liverpool in March before injury ruled him out for the remainder of the season.
The 28-year old who is now in the prime years of his footballing career can provide any mid-table team with goals provided the forward stays fit.
Daniel Sturridge
Liverpool yesterday confirmed that England international Daniel Sturridge would be leaving the club after his contract expired. The striker failed to get going since the 2013-14 season when Suarez, Gerrard and himself almost took Liverpool to their first ever Premier League title.
The 29-year old endured long periods in the injury table after successive injuries ruled him out for matches. The England international was used mainly as an impact substitute by Jurgen Klopp this season.
The striker who joined Liverpool from Chelsea in 2013 made 160 appearances and scored 67 times for the Merseysiders.
Daniel Sturridge made his last ever Liverpool appearance against Newcastle at the St James Park in the Reds final away match of the season.
Like Danny Welbeck, the conundrum surrounding Sturridge is whether to take the risk and sign the striker or whether to miss out on a lethal forward. When fit Daniel Sturridge can produce moments of brilliance that showcases why he was such a highly rated player in his earlier years.
