With news that John Terry and Ashley Cole are both out of England’s game against the Ukraine tonight, I am hoping that both will be fit to take on QPR at Loftus Road this weekend. However, we have to face up to the situation, as it is at the moment and the possibility that they may not make the game on Saturday. So who replaces them?
Ryan Bertrand is the natural replacement for Cole so that is the first question answered. Replacing John Terry however, is a different story.
It will be two out of David Luiz, Branislav Ivanovic and Gary Cahill who could start in the heart of the defence, which will also have a direct effect on the right back position.
Do we bring Ivanovic in next to Cahill or Luiz? Do we continue with Cahill and Luiz and should Cesar Azpilicueta get his first start?
For me, I would go with Azpilicueta at right back, stick Ivanovic next to Cahill and Bertrand on the left.
What do you people think?
