#1 Arsenal vs Hull City (3-2 AET) - May 2014
Growing up as an Arsenal fan in this era, it started off as quite the rough ride. After the invincible season and the FA Cup win, there were 9 years which passed without a trophy.
While this is by no means a bad feat, by Arsenal's standards, this wasn't a good time. Obviously, a lot of factors played into this era, the most notorious being the transition from Highbury to Emirates Stadium.
Anyway, the chance came to put an end to this dreaded streak, and make amends for the league cup final loss to Birmingham a few years previous. Arsenal played Hull City in the FA Cup final, and it was the start of a new era.
They found themselves going two goals down early on, but they gave themselves a lifeline before the first half. As Laurent Koscielny equalised late on, the Gunners were given a chance in extra time.
It was as if by chance, Olivier Giroud who played the ball back to Aaron Ramsey, who only had one thing on his mind. He fired into the corner and ran the length of the pitch to celebrate. And rightly so.
This goal will forever remain in the hearts of the Arsenal faithful, and it's one of the many reasons why it's impossible to hate Aaron Ramsey. Had it not been for this goal, who knows what the current situation would be like?
