But the question is, Is Dybala Juventus FC's main man?
Everyone around the world knows how wonderful of a play Cristiano Ronaldo is. He was literally won everything in football from Premier League, Champions League and even the Euros. He has conquered at the top level of football for the past couple of years along with Lionel Messi.
Two players that people say are in their own league and no other players can be compared to them within this generation.
Throughout his career, Ronaldo has played alongside some spectacular players with him being the main man. However, this year he is playing alongside Paulo Dybala who is extremely talented and possibly the best player Argentina has produced after Messi.
With Ronaldo being the main man at all the clubs that he has played for, is he one at Juventus? Paulo Dybala is probably the real gem that could bring the best out of Ronaldo and Juventus as a whole.
With Dybala approaching his peak years, it really makes his side real Champions League contenders. Him being young makes him the real gem at Juventus and with Ronaldo alongside him, he can be the next thing.
Within this Juventus team, Ronaldo is now looked at as a teacher by Dybala, someone who the Argentinian can look up too and gain some vital experience. Due to Ronaldo ageing, Juventus will look at Dybala to get the goals when Ronaldo isn't playing. Ronaldo will not be able to play all games within the season.
With Ronaldo missing games, Dybala becomes the main man. Fans will look towards Dybala but the pressure will be on the 25 year old. Looking at Dybala within the Champions League, he has been fantastic but not consistent, which is a problem.
Dybala scored twice in Juventus' 3-0 win over Barcelona in last season's Champions League quarter-final first leg. He took the headlines as he outplayed Messi within that fixture showing that he is the next big thing for Argentina. Forget Messi its Paulo Dybala now.
When he is unleashed, he is phenomenal to watch with his dribbling and close control, knitting all the passes within the midfield. His flirtatious movement between the lines is just mesmeric that allows him to place perfect through balls and score some outstanding goals.
Yes he displays some world class performances but that isn't all the time. If you fast forward after the Barcelona win, Dybala was in tears as his side lost against who? Yes, Cristiano Ronaldos Real Madrid.
Dybala did not turn up at his possibly biggest game of his career up to date, as his side got thumped 4-1. But can you guess who did turn up? Ronaldo. Scoring twice in the final which is something he does "consistently".
Consistent is the word that doesn't make Dybala the main man at Juventus. Compared to Ronaldo, he hasn't been there when his team needed him at vital times hence the Champions League final in Kiev.
But now both together at the same club, Dybala can learn off Ronaldo and possibly become the main man. Learning from Ronaldo will be key for Dybala if he wants to be regarded as one of the greatest players. But that must start from consistency, something Ronaldo is perfect at.
