Former Bulgaria international striker Dimitar Berbatov could now be on his way out of Old Trafford and on his way to Italian Serie A side Fiorentina, according to reports. His agent Emil Danchev says that Fiorentina are willing to give him a deal that will keep the goal poacher at the Stadio Artemio Franchi outfit until the end of the 2013–14 season.
Blagoevgrad born Dimitar Berbatov has only one year remaining of his current contract at Manchester United and the club must decide whether to sell the increasingly frustrated footballer in the near future or lose him for nothing at the end of the present campaign. An aggressive and powerful central attacker, Berbatov has contributed 48 English Premier League goals in 108 matches for Manchester United since he was brought to Old Trafford from Tottenham Hotspur for an estimated transfer fee of £30 million back in the autumn of 2008. The Balkan player has also made his mark on the international scene by scoring an incredible 48 goals in 77 full appearances for his native Bulgaria.
