The New Saints host Ferencvaros at Park Hall on Tuesday (July 30) in the second leg of their UEFA Champions League second qualifying round. The hosts lifted their third consecutive Cymru Premier title last season to return to the Champions League Qualifiers.
They beat Decic 3-0 in the first leg of first qualifying round, via efforts from Brad Young and Daniel Davies. They then drew 1-1 with the Montenegrin side in the second leg to advance to the second round for the first time since the 2019-20 campaign.
Ferencvaros, meanwhile, are the regining Hungarian champions and are looking for their first UEFA Champions League group-stage appearance since the 2020-21 season.
They have a foot in the next round of the qualifiers following their 5-0 demolition of their Welsh counterparts in the first leg last week. Three different players had got on the scoresheet, including former Sheriff Tiraspol man Adama Malouda Traore, who netted a brilliant hat-trick.
