When you have Lionel Messi in the team, some of the magic is bound to brush into the players around him. However, Messi's strike partners have been quite good themselves, which sees Barcelona sit pretty at the top of the LaLiga, scoring 31 goals in 11 games. Coutinho and Messi have quickly built an understanding that is outrageous at times and Suárez and Messi have been linking well for a few seasons now. And when these three have played together, it has been a treat to watch.
You can never talk enough about Lionel Messi. Even though he picked up an injury against Sevilla that has kept him out of 2 games in the LaLiga, Messi has already scored 12 goals from 12 games in all competitions this season. In the LaLiga he has scored 7 goals from 9 games and when he most certainly returns against Real Betis this Sunday, expect Messi to make up for the lost ground.
Philippe Coutinho has scored 4 goals from 11 games in LaLiga so far, but his contributions are not just limited to scoring games. The Brazilian is the creative spark that has taken the load off Messi this season and Coutinho has sizzled both on the left side of the front three and as a part of the three man midfield at Barcelona.
Luis Suárez was having a slow start to the season, scoring 3 goals in his first 8 games. However, the Uruguayan has turned things around now, scoring 6 goals in his last 3 games, including a fabulous hat-trick against Real Madrid, where he took up the responsibilities in the absence of his Skipper. Suárez has scored 9 goals in 11 games in the LaLiga and looks set to have another fabulous year ahead.
