The top four teams who can win the Barclay's Premier League

So the new season has begun and it’s shaping into a real nice one. The one thing that can come to one’s mind is who will take the crown and be regarded as the champion’s of England. I have put together the four teams who in my opinion can win the League and anyone has a fair chance of doing it.

Manchester United
The Red Devils are always considered the favourites at the start of the season and this is no different. Last year they won the title which made them the most successful team in English history after they beat Liverpool‘s record of 18 league titles. That year also saw them lose 3 of their most senior players Gary Neville, Paul Scholes and Edward Van der Sar and they brought in replacements in the form of Ashley Young , Phil Jones and David De Gea who have been justifying their price. Also young players like Danny Welbeck and Tom Cleverly who came back from loan are in sensational form and now are forming the class of 2011. United made sure that they are still considered the favourites after they demolished Arsenal 8-2 in which the youngsters are stepping up and stealing the spotlight. So for me The Red Devils are still the team to beat.
Chelsea
The blues after a horrible season last year that saw them not win any silverware their owner Roman Abramovich sacked manager Carlo Ancelotti and appointed Porto manager Andres Villas Boas who in his only season in Portugal won the treble that included the Europa League and is considered the new Mourinho. Still just 33 he is only a few months older then the senior players but it looks like he is successful in gaining their respect. Chelsea had a slow start to the season as they drew with Stoke on match day one and then earned a hard fought victory against West Brom. Now the team is starting to click and with the arrival of Juan Mata he seems to complete the puzzle and solve Chelsea’s creative problems . This proved right in the match against Norwich which Chelsea won 3-1 and it was Mata’s first goal in that match. So Chelsea are going to become serious contenders if they are consistent.
Liverpool
The Reds are in a period of revival after King Kenny took over the club last year as manager in the second half of the season and made them a team to be reckoned with. New American owners has brought in the money which Kenny Daglish has cashed new arrivals in the face of Luis Suarez, Andy Carroll , Charlie Adam, Jordan Henderson and Steward Downing who are already proving to their money’s worth. Their show against Arsenal and Bolton was breath taking with such great passing and chemistry it looked like the Liverpool of the 80′s when Daglish was playing as a player-manager and they were unstoppable . Luis Suarez has become a Kop favourite because of his eye for goal, trickery and pace. Now Liverpool would be looking to get into the Champions League after a two year absence or even further winning the League and if they can keep up their form and win the important games who knows we may be looking at the Champions.
How could a team which has a squad as strong as this be not considered genuine contenders of winning the League. It’s the blue half on Manchester who right now are the richest club in the world because of their Abu Dhabi owners. They have in their squad David Silva, Sergio Aguero, Edin Dzeko, Samir Nasri , Carlos Tevez and the list is a long one. So you get it know what I am talking about. This year the manager Roberto Manciniis adopting a attacking style of play that seems to be working and they have scored 13 goals in their opening three games and right now are the team to beat . If it carries on like this they will win the League but Mancini should play defensively in big games like they did last year which had a negative impact on them.
So there you have it the four teams who can win the League I have not included Arsenal because as it is the case right now they would be happy to take a top four finish.
