Injury woes for the Gunners seem to be back with Theo Walcott being unavailable for two high priority games against Borussia Dortmund and Chelsea.
Arsene Wenger was hoping that Walcott would be back in time for Wednesday night’s Champions League game against Dortmund, but the winger’s stomach injury flared up yet again during training.
Walcott will now miss games against Borussia Dortmund, Crystal Palace and also the Capital One Cup-tie with Chelsea.
Wenger said: “He had a setback. He had to stop, to jog again, I don’t think we will see him against Dortmund, nor Crystal Palace nor Chelsea.
“He is at least two weeks away now.”
Walcott was slated to return only in November but the player is hoping to beat his return date and start playing again.
In the post-Norwich press conference, Wenger said that Mathieu Flamini could miss the game against Dortmund too after having clashed heads with Alexander Tettey.
