Paris Saint-Germain star Zlatan Ibrahimovic is out of contract this summer and Arsenal legend Thierry Henry belives that the Swedish superstar would be an ideal target for the Gunners in the summer transfer window.
Ibrahimovic has previously hinted that the Premier League might be his next destination and he has shown that he is still capable of mixing it with the very best this season.
Henry speaking to Sky Sports also said Leicester City’s impressive midfielder N’golo Kante should also be targetted by Arsenal.
The 38-year-old said: "Who can we sign? Who's available? I hear that Zlatan Ibrahimovic wants to come. It's a problem of who's going to want to come. Are we going to make the Champions League?
"I thought that [Olivier] Giroud did well at certain times during the season. He's been struggling but hopefully he's going to bounce back from the two goals in the FA Cup. Zlatan can do a job. And Kante could do a good job. Those guys that people don't know about are the ones we need to try to get.”
Henry did not rule out Arsenal from the Premier League title race. He said:
"We need to see if we can win this one [the Premier League title in 2015-16]. There's not going to be a better chance than the chance that we have to win this one. Although we're far away from it at the moment, there's still some points to go so hopefully we can do it. It doesn't look like it but I still believe we can."
Zlatan says age is just a number
“I’m only warming up. I don’t believe it’s the end of my career,” Ibrahimovic, who is Ligue 1’s leading scorer with 23 goals, said.
“I think age is just a number and the difference is how you feel. I feel very young. The season I’ve done so far, I never had better statistics than this.
“When I was young and talking about the Champions League, yes, it was almost an obsession, but then I started to mature, started to get to know myself.
“And I said to myself, ‘If I win it or not, it won’t change the player I am.’ But if I can win it, of course I’ll be happy.”
Zlatan’s PSG have a chance of winning the Ligue 1 title tonight when they take on bottom-placed Troyes.
