Bayern Munich striker Thomas Muller has stated that he will not quit the club for Spanish champions Barcelona, Inside Futbol reports.
The player was recently holidaying in Barcelona, which led newspapers to believe that he was there to discuss a potential move to the Spanish club.
The 24-year-old was quick to rubbish rumours of him leaving Munich.
He told German daily Bild: “I was in Barcelona, but my visit had nothing to do with discussions about a transfer.”
The Germany international has a deal with the Bavarians until 2017.
Muller, who came through the ranks of Bayern Munich, made his debut for the club in 2008 and burst onto the international scene in the 2010 World Cup, where he won the Golden Ball and the Best Young Player awards.
Muller has won two Bundesliga titles along with a Champions League with Bayern Munich.
